because life is not static, there is an inherent beat and rhythm to it that affects us all. do you complement this rhythm? do you try to ignore it? are you out of step?

big news

Kennedy Center Local Dance Commissioning Project

I am one of the three choreographers awarded the Local Dance Commissioning Project for this year. I am so honored and blessed to have this opportunity to use the Millennium Stage as a forum to discuss the plight of today's youth. The commissioned piece is entitled "Am I On?" and is an examination of how youth's voices are sometimes suppressed and ignored. I have a talented group of local dancers who will bring this vision to life using Hip Hop choreography. I hope to see you in the audience at the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage on September 6 & 7 at 6 pm. Oh...the show is free and the location is Metro accessible...see you there!!
